Exploring the possibilities of creating shared value in Japan’s urban agriculture: using a mixed methods approach

The purpose of this research is to clarify the mechanism creating shared value in Japan’s urban agriculture by focusing on cognitive innovation social entrepreneurship and residents’ cognition behavior toward agriculture. Specifically, we introduce a mixed methods approach integrating multiple case-based qualitative exploration method for clarifying quantitative sociological authors’ original questionnaire analyzing following results are obtained from our empirical analysis. First, latent class analysis clarified that diversified existing residents. Second, case entrepreneurs with radical gradual able solve problems enhance competency through stakeholders.
